Human Nature in Its Wholeness: A Roman Catholic Perspective Human Nature in Its Wholeness: A Roman Catholic Perspective
The Boston Irish: A Political History by Thomas H. O'Connor, According to Thomas O'Connor, Irish political dominance in Boston grew out of generations of bitter and unyielding conflict between Yankees and Irish Catholic immigrants. Unlike the Irish in other American cities, the settlers in Boston encountered a homogenous, long-established Anglo-Saxon population openly hostile toward the Irish and all things Roman Catholic. O'Connor charts the course of the Irish's growing political influence in Boston against the background of this clash between two different cultures. He argues that Irish politicians established a distinct philosophy of government that often shifted from traditional Democratic leadership to local neighborhood populism.

Catholic Church in Poland - Ever since Poland officially adopted Latin Christianity in 966, the Roman Catholic Church has played a very important religious, cultural, social and political role. Ontario Old Roman Catholic Church - The Ontario Old Roman Catholic Church is a theologically conservative and socially liberal Old Catholic and Independent Catholic denomination in Toronto, Canada, that grew out of the Old Catholic Church of Canada. It aligns itself with Christ Catholic Church, a communion of churches who left Christ Catholic Church International (of which the Liberal Catholic Church of Ontario is a part) feeling it had become Protestantised.
